The monsoon remains active across several parts of India, with heavy rain alerts issued for Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Odisha. A developing weather system over the Bay of Bengal could further increase rainfall across eastern and central India.
